Please bring your ticket with you so that we can check you in. Tickets can be printed out or shown open on a mobile phone. If you don’t have a printer or a mobile phone, please make a note of the long number on your ticket and give your name, or the name of the person who booked your ticket, to the people checking you in.

Please try and arrive about 15 to 20 minutes before the concert starts at  5.30 pm. To give you time to reach your seats.

Infection precautions

We would like to keep everyone as safe as possible. There will be vulnerable people present both in the orchestra and in our audience. Please do not attend if you are likely to be infectious; if you are unwell or are testing positive for Covid-19.

Face Coverings

You are very welcome to wear a face covering if you wish, of course.

Hazelwood School - our very kind hosts

Access is limited to the car parks, the Baily Building, the external steps beside the Baily Building and the terraces immediately outside the Bawtree Hall and the Baily Building entrance.  Please do  not explore other areas of the site.

There are two lifts in the Baily Building, both have very limited capacity and must be reserved for people with disabilities and their carers, with no more than two people using a lift at any one time.  Overloading leads to lift breakdowns...

Please keep noise outside should be kept to a minimum so as not to disturb neighbours.

No food or drink from outside the venue - with the exception of  a small bottle of water - should be brought in.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the school site.

Please silence phones, smart watches etc before the start of the event. Thank you.

Refunds

If you find yourself unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstance, you are entitled to a refund if you wish. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can resell your ticket.

Please contact ndcorchestra@gmail.com if you require a refund, specifying your ticket number(s) and the name of the person who bought them.  We will be grateful to receive returned tickets, if we have sold out and tickets are needed for our waiting list.

Tickets

  • Under 18s

We do not recommend this concert for pre-school children because they are unlikely to be able to sit still and quietly throughout. Feedback from audience and orchestra is that young children and their adults have caused distractions at previous concerts. Any young children attending should be taken out straight away if they are distressed or causing distraction to audience and/or orchestra please. Free ticket for under 18s. All children to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Front rows - limited mobility

Our seating is in 'grandstand' type banked seating. Some people with limited mobility or limited vision/balance find climbing up the seating very difficult. They should request a reserved seat in the 2 front rows . Wheel Chair users should book these spaces as well and will be in front of the front row.
